How does Garrison Minerals price their products, particularly the Magnesium Hydroxide Slurry?
Magnesium Hydroxide whether in a liquid or powder form is still a solid material. Magnesium Hydroxide should ALWAYS be priced on a DRY WEIGHT basis. Magnesium Hydroxide priced on a per gallon or wet pound basis is misleading. The difference in dry weight on a 58% solution verse a 56% solution is 1,000 dry pounds. If pricing is given on a gallon basis with a total solids variance of 55% – 60% solution — the customer could be paying more for water and less for the actual product. ALWAYS request pricing on a DRY WEIGHT basis.

Can I test the material before placing a larger order?
Absolutely, many of the products are kept in stock and 200g samples can be sent free of charge (US only) for testing and analysis. Garrison Minerals can also set up and perform a larger scale trial for industrial applications. International customers, don't worry! We will send you a sample too with prepaid shipping.
